I got my first heartbreaking story at target tonight. A little boy around the age of seven came up to my register and told me to hurry up. He was buying a $27 dollar watch and it was to fancy to be for the seven year old so I asked it who it was for. He told me the watch was for his dad who was in the hospital. He overheard his dad telling his mom that he needed more time, so the boy decided to buy him a watch. I had to hurry because his mom was in the car outside and the boy didn’t tell his mom what he was getting. I nearly cried. I don’t think the boy understood what the father meant by he needed more time. The lady behind him heard the story and between the two of us we paid for his dads watch. Hopefully now he has more time.
